A- Thick tan head reminds me of a latte. Black with reddish brown edges. Lacing exists but is unimpressive.
S- Caramel with sourdough and tomato juice. Sweet licorice, both black and red. Smell like a Belgian dark ale with a Guinness finish. In the end it got real warm and you could clearly smell the hops.
T- Compared to the smell, quite a surprising coco and coffee. Vegetable presence. Enough alcohol/whisky taste considering the abv (which I forgot to note). Some hops, not enough to really distinguish, but there is definitely some hoppinness going on here. Bakers cocoa. Bitter aftertaste is definitely from hops more than malt.
M- High carbonation that doesn't bother, but still feels a bit artificial. Easy flowing. Feels like a creamy lager. Dry.
D- Medium. Drinks easy, but isn't delicious. Happy I tried it, but wouldn't have another pint.
Good but...Not much more to say.
