This brew is certainly active and available. Fresh bottle from St. Hubert. Pours black and I thought it a stout, rather a sweet stout that grew on me as it had more body and smooth complexity. Now for its style, it is a tad below average. Black with decent white head. Malty aroma. A tad above average mouthfeel.

Pours a clear deep amber with an amazing 3 finger head that eventually settles to about 3/4 of an inch. It leaves rings of lace all the way down the glass. Aroma is a mixture of chocolate, musty yeast, and berries. Flavor begins with caramel and chocolate, then becomes slightly fruity and sour. The flavors complement each other very well. Has a very smooth mouthfeel, but has a very full body, maybe just a little too full for the style. Overall, I'm very impressed by this one, and can see myself searching out other beers from this brewery.
