I tasted this 500 ml bottle on 21st October 2009, best by Mar 2010.
Poured into a pint glass, a dark amber brew with a modest head. Very nice lacing remained on the glass.
It smelled of hops and maybe a whiff of smoke (?).
The taste was a nice mix of some malt with a bite of bitterness provided by the hops.
Overall, this is a very nice bitter, a satisfying IPA combining nice bitterness with body. I would definitely drink it again.

On cask at the Bridge House, Belfast
Pours with a lemony yellow body, yellow tinged white puffy head with good retention. Snake like lacing up and down the glass
Smell, faint grassy hops, pale malts, small amount of sweetness, very slightly floral.
Taste, bready light malt, not particularly crisp. Faint grassy hops, very little noticeable bitterness. Dry lingering yeast character on the finish
A pretty underwhelming 'IPA'. 4.2% and no real sign of any hop bitterness. Not something I'd come back to
