Bottle from trade:
Puts a hazed gold ale in the glass with a great frothy cap and great lacing. Lively carbonation.
Aroma is pleasant with fruits and grains and a nice undertone of piney hop.
Slick mouth feel, chewy-honyy-caramel malts in the front turn more complex in the middle; yeasty, fruity, some toastines....longer finish turns a tad sweet.
Certainly not what I expected. This is a strange cat for a commercial craft brew....unique tasting and flavourful.

Bottle - Pourred a standard colored blond ale. Medium head with no retention. Malt oriented taste with a light bitterness and a watery aftertaste. Very standard brew that I won't be seeking anytime again in the near future. Not the best from Le Chaudron Brewery.

Bought at Marché du Boisé (boul. des Forges, T-R), 6/11/03, stored cool dark, 2600 miles in my trunk.
Hm. I seem to be having bad luck today. A huge, white, coarse head collapses to an uneven meringue. Looks good so far. The beer is mostly clear and gold. The smell is tangy, but a little sour. The continued sour fruit taste isn't totally unpleasant, but the metal finish doesn't give this beer the help it needs.
Really, there's not much to this beer. It's a light, sour, fruity, but otherwise nondescript beer.
