Consumed 10/5/13.
Score: 90
A: black coffee color with dark brown color in light. Serving with a thin coating of dark tan head that quickly settles to a ring around the glass. Average lacing but good retention. 4/5
S: bourbon, brown sugar and vanilla. A little fudge too. 4
T: oak upfront (too much honestly), but then chocolate takes over and lingers well while the oak dissipates. The bourbon is much more subtle than the nose led on, and is a nice consistent undertone. Really nice balance finish and delicious chocolate flavor. Hint of smoke as it warms 4.25
M: thin-med, min carb, a bit creamy. Easy drinking, good balance with a slight sweetness and moderately dry finish. 3.75
