Very nice wet hopped IPA from Goose. Had this at a restaurant in the Chicago area and was told that it is draft only in the Chicago area. Very nice flavor and nose for a low ABV offering. Would definitely have again.

On tap at Links Taproom in Chicago. Quite the unexpected surprise. Not much unique in the look, but the smell is the first indication of something nice. The taste is a brilliant bright hop punch, plenty juicy. Not typical of my experience with wet hopped brews. Feel was pleasant too. Excellent offering from goose

This is an oily, slick and quite chewy IPA. Deep burnt orange to amber color with a decent retained head. Got plenty of grapefruit and tangerine in here, with a lot going on. Pleasing bitterness, with an aftertaste that stuck around for quite a bit. Overall this is an enjoyable beer.

Dark saturated orange, lasting surface skim, concentric rings of lace.
Grapefruit peel, resinous aroma. Taste is similarly resinous and bitter.
Citric and vaguely piney. Lingering hoppy aftertaste. Light yeast and crackery malt.
For a strictly wet hop beer to be this resinous and bitter, they had to use a ton of wet hops (5x dry). Unless it was supplemented with pellet hops... Color me intrigued.

Fresh Hopped using local MI Chinook hops. The nose was a delightful citrusy aroma with a hint of pine. The taste matched the nose but with an exceptionally oily characteristic. Being wet/fresh hopped the flavors were intense but not overbearing or bold. It left your taste buds as fast as it came.

Available on draft at the 2014 Goose Island's 312 Block Party.

Spoke to one of the guys serving the beer and he explained the beer to be a wet-hopped IPA. Can't remember if he told me specifically what type of hops were used. The beer had a very floral, piney, dank nose to it. Golden-amber in color. Taste was more fresh, dank hops. Well balanced, with very little bitterness. Overall, it was an excellent beer that I would love to have again. Unfortunately, I don't imagine it's something they would bottle and more likely limited to a brewpub offering.
