Unknown vintage; drank 2/13/15 on draft @ Fischman's.
Semi-opaque ruby red appearance.
Fluffy white head; strong lace.
Orange & mildly tart cherry nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Cherry & orange citrus flavors; a smooth, slightly sweet finish.
An above average DIPA; I'd love to have another.

I'm not sure what to make of this beer. It's definitely unique. Drank this out of a Spiegelau IPA glass. Bottled on 8/25/15 so it's a bit old. The color is a cloudy reddish-gold. I can smell the rye and the lemongrass but I'm not sure about the cherries. The taste is a different story. This beer bills itself as an imperial rye IPA with lemongrass and tart cherries and that is really what it tastes like. It's a 9% abv but the alcohol is well hidden. Not really as hoppy as it'd expect for a beer that claims to be 75 IBUs but, as I stated earlier, it's a bit old so that might factor in. The mouth feel is about what I'd expect from anything billing itself as an imperial IPA
