Very sweet off the top, but the pecan, buttery fade is amazing. Probably the only Pecan Pie beer that actually pulls it off.

After this warms a while, you can taste the pecan filling of the pie, spot on. This beer was thoroughly enjoyable, bravo GI.

Holy crap. This was tapped at the brewpub along with Candy Cane Cthulhu (a favorite of mine), and stunningly held its own.
This is GI Clybourn's BA Barleywine, with pecans and...I dunno what else. The nose is filled with pecan and caramel, and the taste itself really does taste like pecan pie. Very sweet, with just the right mouthfeel (not too thick, and not thin), this stuff blew me away.
If you like sweet beers, get this. It is what the name implies. Another great holiday beer from the brewpub.
