Draft at Goose Clybourn, served in a snifter glass.
Murky dark brown, with a string of bubbles around one side, no lace.
Aroma is great, toffee chip cookies, mellow bourbon.
Taste is similar with big toffee notes, vanilla, lingering woody aftertaste and traces of booze. Some astringency from the barrel. Big and chewy feel.
Overall it's pretty nice, an annual winter favorite at Clybourn.
