A- This beer had an opaque brown body with a slight reddish hue in the light. It had a thin soapy head that lasted for a few sips. Lots of tiny bubbles clung to the glass but slowly rose to the surface.
S- Clean smell with a caramel malt and a nice floral hop aroma.
T- Kind of a sweet caramel taste with a nice hoppy spiciness. Hints of chocolate taste and a spicy hop finish that was enhanced by a alcohol warmth.
M- Medium mouthfeel with a little carbonation feel. No astringency but a nice alcohol warmth finished.
D- This is a pleasant beer but not a real complex beer. Lots of hops which is nice support for the alcohol and the malt was present but didn't really overpower the hops.

Pours a deep garnet color. No head is retained but some lace.
Aroma is sweet malt, citrusy hops and liquor.
Flavor is caramel, toffee, raisins with a very earthy and bitter hop hit.
Mouthfeel is extremely dry and mildly spicy with a heavy alcoholic kick on the finish. Too dry, not enough sweet malt enjoyment. My guess is that this beer is dry-hopped.
Drinkability is average to slightly above average. Just not enough juice to a be a great barleywine.
