On tap at Goose Island Clybourn. Served in a nonic.
A medium copper appearance, half finger white head, fair amount of retention, plenty of lacing. Smells of hops, a bit of grapefruit and tropical fruit, though there is a fair Belgian yeast presence that contributes a bit of ester and mineral presence to it. Mild caramel backbone. Flavour is caramel, yeast esters, minerals, spices, and a mild amount of grapefruit and grassy hops. Mouthfeel is on the thinner side, fair carbonation, not too bitter, a bit boring. Overall, nothing too special; but there is plenty of Belgian yeast presence here if that's what you like.
