Tried this on tap at the April Goose Island Beer Academy. The little write-up we got says it's "A German-style Bock beer that is poured between the departure of the Doppelbock and the arrival of the Maibock. It is also between the other two bocks incolor, alcohol and body."
OK, well, it pours an orange brown color with a rather large, pretty tan head. The scent is hoppy, with some slight caramel malt notes. The taste is hoppy as well, with a thick malt background - but not as sweet as I expected from a bock. Also, the beer is creamier than I expected. Tasty, but not delicious.
