Willie's small beer is the 2nds from the Imperial Brown Goose that is laugering
A-clear but opaque deep brown color with low carbonation with a nice creamy head.
S- Floral hops and some caramel notes but a pretty light clean aroma.
T- Nice warm hop spiciness with some grapefruit flavors aswell. A strong tangyness with sweet caramel malt and a hint of hop bitterness finish the beer.
M- a somewhat watery mouthfeel with no astringency or alcoholic warmth.
D- This beer has a nice complexity but the flavors need more time to blend. The distinct roasted malts will be great in the big beer but they have a watery taste in the small beer.

Made from seconds runnings of a strong brown ale scheduled for release later this year. Has a slightly spicy aroma. It is a medium full amber color with some brown notes. The taste is nice and malty and it finishes with a subtle spicy finish. This is a very nice example of a Mild Brown Ale. There is a fruity yeast component here as well that reminds me a bit of plums and raisins. For a second hand beer this is quite good.
