Served on a brewery tour in mid-July. Honestly not bad for what it is, which is a low ABV English-style ale. The flavors are very soft and muted and skew very sweet and are otherwise uninteresting generic caramel malt notes. Something that could possibly develop over a long session, but not something that really showcases nicely in a sampler pour. This is something I could see being better if I had 4 imperial pints of them in a row.

2/8/16 Chicago ($4 Goose Island Brew Pub 16 oz draft pour into Nonic glass). Black pour with thick tan head. Slight coffee aroma. Light coffee taste. Very thin texture, very creamy, very easy going down. Almost like drinking a shake. Nice offering for desert or kids.
