Pours almost the color of straw and some amber flecks, honey may the right color. Very clear lightly carbonated.
Aroma of oranges and light caramel along with some hay and wheat bread.
Flavors of caramel and a distinct mandarin orange note along with wheat bread note.
Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy with a light oily citrus finish. Nice cask beer.
Drinkability is very solid. Nice job on the cask.

Progress Pale Ale was the cask option on my latest visit to the Wrigleyville location. In fact I had the first pint! The beer was a cloudy orange with a fluffy meringue head. Nice big nose of hops (Cascade Im guessing), Citrus and pine.
The taste was bold and aggressive. Lots of oily pine resin taste that coats your tongue and mouth (thats a lot better than it sounds). Citrus tartness thats balanced with some biscuit/bread flavor to balance.
A very soft yet bracing mouthfeel which is a nice combination for this beer. Great session beer, get it while you can!
