I had this one at the Clark Street location. It was served in a snifter.
The beer was a rusty, hazy brown with a nice off-white head and very nice lace patterns.
The nose was of malt, banana and spice (clove and all-spice). Lots happening there!
The taste was definitely on the sweeter side. Lots of thick tasting banana and mango flavors. The spice is always in the background and adds a nice counterpoint to the sweetness. The beer became less sweet and more acidic as it warmed and I liked that aspect. The alcohol is well hidden considering it is 8%.
The mouthfeel is thick and chewy. Very substantial feel. Drinkabiltiy for me was no more than average. While this is an interesting beer, it is not one I would reach for on more than the occasional basis.
