On tap at brewpub and from subsequent growler. I really enjoyed this beer. Jet black color with amazing head that kept it all the way. Deep rich roasted grain. Nice mouthfeel.

A black pilsner style, this is a type I've rarely come across. Rich, earthy notes the beer. Yet I found this extremely drinkable. Probably named for needing some after a Sox loss. One of the best I tried at Clybourn.

Black with a tan ring.
Smokey bacon immediately came to mind at first whiff. After some time, maybe smoked almond is more accurate.
This is like a roastier, earthy Guinness with smokey almond and herbal notes on the back end.
For a lager, these massive flavors and aromas just blindsided me. You might say they knocked my sox off...
