look: 4 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.75
-clear, golden tap pour with minimal visible effervescence, likely a tap issue. The aroma is bright and a tad sweet. The flavors are biscuit-like malt and some spice. The finish is not dry.

Pours a hazy cloudy matte golden color. Thick white head dissipates leaving some white lacing and a ring of white foam along the outside of the beer. Aroma is bready with some spicy hops and a tinge of honey. Taste follows the nose with a solid bready malt backbone with a touch of honey, dough and some spicy hops on the back end. A bit grassy on the finish. Feel is medium to full bodied for the style but easily drinkable. Overall this was fantastic - wish you could get it other than on draft. I'd drink a ton of this. Well done Keller Bier for sure.

Served from a huge wooden barrel at the 2017 CBS picnic.
Light amber color, bright clarity (until the end of the barrel that is). A patch of loose surface bubbles.
Biscuity toasted malt aroma, lightly yeasty and very clean. Definitely not sweet.
Flavors are similar, smooth toasty maltiness, nutty specialty grains. Clean dry finish. As it was served vom fass there wasn't much carbonation but there was naturally a tiny bit. Overall this was a great variation on the style, it wasn't really as cloudy as you'd expect for an unfiltered Märzen. Looking forward to trying bottles/draft to compare to the this, which most resembled a giant cask.
