(Served in an American pint glass)
A- Slightly hazy orange body with a creamy off-white head that is very thick. There is a good carbonation.
S- The smell of green hops has a soft earthy note and a slightly sweet malt and wet wood smell.
T- The taste of green earthy hops is met with a bright orange note. This is followed by a pale malt flavor with good complexity and a bit of a dry grapefruit hop finish. The malt has a light wood but not oak flavor that is a bit like the smell of fresh cut wood.
M- This beer has a medium-full mouthfeel with a faint creamy texture.
D- The apple wood aging and the dry hops really make this beer complex but it is very easy to quaff many of these in one sitting.
