4 pack for $2.99. Has anybody had this beer? Dated 5/14/18, bracing myself here.
Pours a golden amber color with a tall fluffy head of 3 fingers with lots of thick, thick, cottage cheese lacing on the sides.
Definitely some hop spoilage going on here in the nose, with some nice tropical notes too. Citrus and pineapple and mango and apricot. I think this would have been amazing had it been within date.
Mostly a malt bomb at this point with lots of faded hop, some cardboard...slight peach, slight orange and other citrus.
Feel is creamy and smooth, impeccable. Mild carbonation, some slight hanging resins.
Overall, I'll bet this beer was amazing fresh. Now it's completely gone though. I'll probably chuck the rest!
