This should really be listed under the GI - Clybourn location.
Served in a stein, hazy brown/orange colour, thick off white head, nice lacing, settles fast into a ring around the edge. Smell is sweet, some caramel, citrus, alcohol, bread, bit of roast, some dates. Taste is malty, alcohol kick, some roast, toffee, bread, nice balance of flavours. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation. Nice bock, not too sweet, malty and good. GI generally does bocks pretty well.

Served in a stein at Goose Island-Clybourn 4/13/07.
A: Dark, reddish-brown with a creamy off-white head. Very little in the way of lace.
S: Sweet caramel malt with a smattering of hops.
T: Excellent flavors of sweet malt, toasted malt, brown sugar, hops, and chocolate.
M: Creamy, sweet and dry maltiness. Very enjoyable.
D: A very enjoyable bock beer. The sweetness is quickly pulled in by the malty dryness.
