Had on tap. Dark chestnut brown with a mushroom collar and white lacing. Smell has smoky malts, caramel, lots of bread, and earth. Taste is cheaper, lacks depth with the same flavors from the smell, but they mix together in a bland concoction that is mostly bready. It's not terrible, but it is not good either. Feel is bready, malty, and generally uninspiring.
Tempo pours a dark brown color, with a long lasting, large lacing head. Smokey, sweet and sugary aroma. Flavor is smokey and sweet, sugary, but not overdone, very enjoyable. Good body and feel. Overall, it is a lighter beer, but very enjoyable flavors, on the sweeter side, but not overdone. Very well done!
