Pours a light, cloudy golden color with very little head.
Scent of pale malts, grain an yeast. I would like this a little more if there was more of a hop presence in the scent.
Taste of honey, grains, and subtle malts and fruits. This is one tasty pilsener.
Mouthfeel is light and clean.
I hope to try this one again when it is warmer out, this would be a great summer brew.

on tap at the Clybourn Brewpub on December 7th, 2008. poured into a mug with a hazy golden color and two fingers of light, loose white head that remains for a minute or two and leaves mild lacings.
aroma is mainly of light, flowery hops with a base of mild pale malts and a nice bready note from the yeast. the bready note is a bit more potent here than on a usual pils, probably because the brew is unfiltered.
taste is of smooth pale malts up front, with the same bready quality from the aroma, and notes of light grain. finishes with a nice profile of floral hops and a lasting crispness that is true to the style.
mouthfeel is light bodied and mildly watery, but with a nice texture from the yeast and floral hops. an easy drinking pilsner.
drinkability is good. this is a smooth and fresh tasting pils with a nicely crisp finish and a robust profile (for the style). overall a nice light alternative for the 312'ers out there.
