Not sure if this is "dank" in any definition of the word, but it sure it's good...
I found this to be a very nice and appealing orange colored brew with yellowish tinge. The smell was simply delcious - orange, tangerine, and a hint of grapefruit sourness. Though I now have a greater appreciation for carbonation in beer, as a homebrewer, I still found this to be very carbonated, to the point where it was distracting to the overall experience. The taste was very juicy, citrusy-fruity, and truly a very sweet beer without being overly sweet in the end. Great beer, something to have on hand to impress or even introduce the uninitiated to craft.

Hazy amber, fluffy white head, leaves lace on the glass as it slowly recedes to a film; Smells okay, "piney, grassy", the usual descriptors for IPAs; Good pleasant mild flavor; Mouthfeel is good; This isn't a special beer, but it's certainly nothing to complain about.

Pours a clear bright honey yellow with a modest white cap that falls away quickly, minimal lacing. Aroma is bold with tropical fruits. Flavor is more on the bitter piney side but the fruit sweetness it there as well. Feel is medium bodied with ample carbonation. Overall a fine beer.

Dank Detector pours a hazy golden color, with a large, long lasting, lacing head. Aroma is a little weak, but vegetable hop flavors. Flavor is nice and dry, with a fresh vegetable/hop flavor. Hops come through. Good dry beer. Overall, very tasty, very drinkable with lots of dank flavors, dry.

Pours hazy with a 1/4 inch white head that dissipates fairly quickly. Not much of an aroma (compared with other Goose Island beers). Weak carbonation.
Taste is very juicy; actually tastes like beer mixed with juice. There is a slight bitterness that adds some complexity to the flavor. However, between the diluted juicyness and lack of carbonation, it leaves more to be desired in my book.

Clear light amber, compact fluffy white cap. Smell: melon, biscuit, vaguely tropical. Taste: pine, papaya, biscuit; finish is all resin with cheerios in the background. Medium body, barely; drying finish. Decent!

Appearance: Pours a clear, bright, medium orange color with a strong, creamy white head. SRM of 11-12. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong dense and resinous tropical aromas. There's melon with a bit of earthy apple, apple peel, & berry. Strong earthy Mosaic hop notes. (4.25)
Flavor: Flavor follows the nose to a tee. More resinous tropical flavors. Not one fruit stands out but it has the tropical fruit, melon, new-age apple, dense berry. Even some wet grass. More Mosaic type of flavors. No black tea notes. Finishes thick, resinous, and earthy with less than average bitterness. Leans sweeter if I had to say. (4.00)
Feel: Medium-bodied. Decent carbonation. Feels resinous and heavier though and leaves some resinous notes on the palate. (3.75)
Compared to Fresh Squeezed IPA 4/10/20: Pours a lighter color. Stronger aromas. More tropical and earthy resinous flavors. The classic mosaic. Less tropical citrus. More earthy fruit flavor, but less bitter. Overall, very similar and I'm glad I compared to two but I think this one here is the winner.
Overall: This one impressed me. A very nice drinking IPA. Not going to lie Goose Island has let me down many a time, and many of the beers are really underweight. However, this one is a very smooth and resinous drinking IPA. You'd swear it had Mosaic hops, but I guess not. Tastes just like a Mosaic bomb. Tropical, earthy, resinous. Not too unlike a Two-Hearted IPA. Pretty impressed by this one and if you see if it's worth grabbing while it's here. (Final Rating: 4.09)
