This easy drinking refreshing golden ale is perfect for a day at the ballpark or hanging out at the tailgate. Balanced cereal notes, with honey suckle and a stable fruitiness. Subtly sweet, with an easy finish. Brewed for and in collaboration with the Chicago White Sox.
5.0 ABV, 25 IBU.
Hops: Brewers Gold, Amarillo, Cascade
Malts: 2-row, rye

Since I'm a ChiSox fan, this was a must buy. For a Golden Ale, it was pretty on point. Light, refreshing, some fruitiness, and a pleasing bitterness to round it out. Not bad. But I may be a little biased.

Taste: crisp with a grainy mouthfeel, bright hopped and yeast bread notes, slight bitter but lighter finish. fresh hops, spiced bread nose. Golden hue, clear, tall white head, nice lattice of lace. Medium body. Good for a ball game. 25 IBUs

12 oz can, best-by date of 06/29/21 stamped on bottom, poured into a pint glass.
A: Slightly hazy golden color with a half-finger head that receded to a thin film.
S: Light fruity sweetness with just a hint of mild hops.
T: Smooth doughy malt sweetness up front. Hop bitterness is a little more intense than the nose would suggest. Certainly adds complexity, but perhaps undercuts its goal of being a summer crusher just a bit.
F: Medium bodied, well-carbonated, smooth finish.
O: A well-balanced ballpark beer. Tony LaRussa would approve.
