This is an English style brown ale, I had on tap at the Goose Island Clybourn location. It is isn't available in stores. The beer was brown with a cream head, unfortunately the head didn't leave any lacing. The aroma was of yeast and fruit. The taste was mildly bitter and refreshing. It was malty and well balanced. This was probably a northern English brown as opposed to southern, as it is not as roasty as other browns. Very sessionable. This is a very different brown than their regular nut brown and worth finding to try it!
