Goose Island Brewhouse "Rankin-Phile"
From their website: "We brewed this hazy IPA using Pink Boots Society hop blend, hefty portions of wheat and oats, and the expressive Kveik yeast. Look for delicate floral aromas, followed by a bold wave of juicy flavors like lemon sorbet, peach rings, and ripe tropical fruit."
Look: Hazy golden body beneath a short head of white foam. Average head retention and lacing.
Smell: Malty and citrusy with notes of peach and distant orange. Not particularly bold, particularly for an IPA.
Taste: More wheaty and citrusy w/ lemon than the aroma suggests. Some peach and tangerine remain. Firmly bitter with a dry finish and some lingering herbal notes.
Feel: Medium bodied with a crisp, standard carbonation.
Overall: Decent enough IPA
