(served in a stemmed tulip glass)
A- This beer pours a warm clear slightly dense brown body with a gentle carbonation supporting a light tan creamy head that sticks to the glass.
S- The clean soft smell of minerals has a light yeasty note and a faint dry malt hint.
T- The light raw taste of malt has and interesting but metallic and mineral quality to it. There is a hop note at the finish but it is pretty small aswell.
M- There is a light mouthfeel with no alcohol heat and a very soft carbonation.
D- This beer is very light in flavor but has some good qualities. As the beer warms the mineral and metallic notes grow and overshadows the malt and hops.

On tap at the Clybourn Brewpub in August 2009. Pours a very light, crisp yellow gold color with a nice white head. The smell demonstrates a little Belgian yeast character, but that's about it--perhaps also a little bit of residual sweetness. The taste is much the same, and the mouthfeel is a little thin. Drinkability, by design, is quite good, but I wish there was just a little bit more to this one, even if some drinkability was sacrificed.
