I don't like lactose in beers, but given that, this one hits the nail on the head with its appearance and its fruit taste (once it warms up).

 

This stuff sold out instantly as soon as it hit the shelves of Sheetz thanks to advertisement. Had to wait a few weeks but alas, found it. Has a Rick Sanchez look-a-like on the can. Medium pour, inch head with decent retention. Very milky in color. The banana scent hits you in the face right off the bat. It does taste really good, basically like desert in a can but it's kind of hard to get drunk off this stuff which you can take however you will. It has a very thick viscosity, thicker than most stouts. As the "milkshake" part of the name implies. Overall, delicious but not a good choice to solely get drunk on.

 

16 ounce can, thanks to Sheetz for the chance to try this one! Best before date of 04AUG21 printed on the bottom of the can. Served in a Project I Scream, Brew Scream glass, the beer pours a cloudy gold color with about an inch white head that stuck around a little while. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like banana, strawberry, vanilla, grainy malt and some citrusy hops. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but I think the banana, strawberry, vanilla flavors stand out. Reminds me of a milkshake with a hit of hops! Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's creamy and a bit coating with a good amount of carbonation. Hopefully Sheetz and Goose Island will consider making this one again, I liked it.
