Had this one on tap at the brewpub. Poured a solid balck color with dark brown highlights in the light, small light tan head and light lacing. Nice roasty stout aroma up front, little bitterness, and just a hint of blueberry. This tastes like a really good, well made American stout with just a touch of blueberries added. I expected there to be more berry flavor than this, but it's there, and adds a nice touch the roasty, chocolaty character of the stout. Nice medium body on this one, but it had really low carbonation and was nearly flat by the time I got halfway through the glass. The other brew I had there today was the same way. Strange. Maybe GI needs to increase their CO2 output in the lines? All in all, this was a delicious, well-made stout and went perfectly with my Cuban sandwich.
