On tap at GI-Clybourn
Pours a light layer of white head. Color is a slight hazed golden orange.
Aroma: Belgian yeast, cloves, orange peel, spices, and grassy hops. Not really picking up the clementines here.
Taste: More fruit notes here with the clementines actually showing a bit. Lemons show a lot with Belgian yeast. More grassy hops.
Mouthfeel: Crisp, smooth, and spiced. Light to medium bodied with a good amount of carbonation. Ends dry and spiced.
Overall, a decent golden ale. The clementines were subtle but a nice addition to the style. Pretty drinkable.

This is a Belgian golden ale with fresh clementines served on tap at Goose Island Clybourn.
It pours an orange/gold with a short white head that fades a bit quickly.
Nose is pleasant and fresh with simple fruit esters and a strong undertone of orange (clementine).
Mouth is a bit thin but bright and with elegant nice carbonation and is bright and sufficiently fresh to be quite appealing, especially as a summer brew or something in place of a light white wine with food.
Flavors follow nose in that the flavors are simple but bright, fresh and with a defniite orange character. Drninkable; Ok; nothing special.
