On tap at GI-Clybourn
Pours a light layer of off white head. Color is a dark caramel brown, near black.
Aroma: Very roasted with notes of coffee and chocolate. Light caramel malt. A very clean stout.
Taste: Big roasted/burnt malt flavors. Rich coffee and chocolate. More caramel malt shows here with grassy hops. Pretty solid.
Mouthfeel: Smooth and creamy with a roasted touch to it. Medium bodied with a medium amount of carbonation. Ends dry with chocolate and coffee in the aftertaste.
Overall, a very well done stout with lots of quality flavors. A big amount of coffee showing which I really enjoyed. Easy drinking, but a bit filling.

Pours a fairly standard deep brown color. Small amount of tan head with very little lacing left behind. Aroma is slightly sweet and malty. Flavor has lots of very nice dark/bitter/baking chocolate flavors - really really tasty. Also picking up hints of caramel and just a little bit of malt. Very smooth beer and an incredibly drinkable and tasty stout. If you like stouts that lean more towards the chocolaty flavors, you will love this one.
Will definitely be drinking more of this.
