Inspired by the pale ales commonly found in the early 90s. A glowing amber color with phenomenal lacing, gives way to herbal aromatics with a slightly sweet biscuit maltiness that develops notes of caramel and a subdued hop profile.

On tap at Goose Island Fulton in Chicago, IL.
This one pours a mostly clear dark orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like biscuity malt, lemon and grassy hops, herbs, tea, and caramel.
This appears to be an attempt at a very old school, early days American craft pale ale, and it feels like it accomplishes that. It’s not exactly the sort of beer I always want, but this is definitely something that feels like it would have been served at the Goose Island pub in the 90s.
This is pretty drinkable, with a nice smooth and slightly creamy finish.
Although this sort of hoppy beer isn’t quite my thing anymore, this is undoubtedly well done.
