This was the special tap offering for the October BA gathering. Not much information was provided about it.
A - Pours with a few fingers of creamy off-white foam that settles to a thick cap, leaving behind spotty lace. Hazed golden body that has a slight yellow-green(!?) tinge to it.
S - Heft orange and light pine hops. Seems pretty Cascade-centric, with perhaps some earthy zest from a noble-style hop as well. Cookie and biscuit malt backbone. It's a pretty good-smelling APA.
T - Taste is less hop-forward, with more bready malt and a yeasty finish. Somewhat bland and generic in this department.
M - Zesty carbonation, but not harsh. Medium-light body, and a slightly sticky finish. Could use a bit more dryness and/or resin.
D - This started off promising, but the flavor was a disappointment. I didn't bother with a second pour, even though it was free.
