"Best by 1/31/24"; drank 12/16/23 @ the Yarchives.
Slighty cloudy dull orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big off-white head; frothy lacing remained.
Oats, orange peel, banana & faint pine notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Orange peel, banana & mild pine flavors.
Balanced & almost a bit Belgian in execution; it's worth a quaff.

12 oz can into a pint glass. Clear orange-amber color with a one-finger foamy off-white head that faded to a thin film. Smells of clean doughy malt and tropical citrus - orange, faint peach and mango. Taste mostly follows, mild caramel malt, mild fruitiness, virtually no balancing hop bitterness. Medium-light body. A very mild, easy-drinking pale ale.

12 oz. can, best by JAN 13, 2023. Surprised to see that I had to add this one to BeerAdvocate, where it has upwards of 300+ ratings on the 'other site'. Upon checking, I realize their previous White Sox beer isn't listed here either, but I digress..
Poured to a clear snifter.
A golden honeyed orange body. Barely a half finger of soapy white bubbles. It does leave some soapy strands of lacing when given a nice swirl. Looks ok.
Aroma is pretty basic: some indistinct berry fruitiness, not mango or orange or grapefruit - slightly bready, slightly fumey even.
Flavor follows in all terms - indistinctly fruity, berry medley, bit of biscuity bread malts, but certainly not balanced in any way.
Feel is crisp, smooth. Bready & dry on the finish. Slightly bitter / resinous but not particularly 'piney'. Not interesting, nor very fulfilling, but drinkable at best.
Overall, I'll give it the 3.5 overall since it was pretty inoffensive, but this was not my idea of a traditional American pale ale. Needs more balance, would like to know what hops were used in this.
