Goose Island Beer Co. “Attention IPA”
$11.89/20 oz. on tap @ Reilly’s Daughter, Chicago Midway International Airport, Chicago, IL
Look: Hazy deep copper colored body beneath a creamy head of off-white. Very good head retention and even better lacing.
Smell: Fruity with citrus and orchard fruits and somewhat resinous and dank.
Taste: Malty with reddish caramel, sugar, and almost burnt sugar. Fruity with orange, apple, and berries. Gently piney. Firmly bitter at 55 IBUs with a dry finish where the fruitiness fades leaving some woodiness, pine, and earth lingering.
Feel: Medium-full in body with a moderate, fine-bubbled carbonation that leaves it creamy and smooth.
Overall: A satiating IPA that’s perfect for cooler fall and winter weather.
