16 fl oz. can, looks like best by June 2, 2023. To my dismay, this beer was not listed on BeerAdvocate. Acquired a single can of this stuff from the roommate via trade. "Cold IPA" lol i just have to laugh at these continual gimmicks, but here we go. Contains: wheat for all you allergen enthusiasts out there.
Poured to a Duvel tulip.
A: Nice color; pours a crisp lemon body with apt carbonation and a good finger's worth of fizzy white head.
S: Aroma is dusty & grassy. Notes of lemon pith & herbs.
T: Taste follows, super grassy, piney, borderline tangy, with a small blast of citrus / pith / zest. Notes of lemon, clementine, grass.
F: Smooth, crisp, clean, fluid. Medium-light body, and easy drinking stuff for the modest 7.20% abv.
Surprised no one else has reviewed this one; it isn't a bad beer at all from Goose Island, seems almost fairly obscure, like they didn't release a lot of this one. Also the format was strange, as they aren't really privvy to the 4pk of 16 oz. cans, but this was definitely good.
Goose Island Very Chill -----4/5.

So…this is one of those new-age cold-fermented IPA’s. It is a somewhat hazy straw color with a fizzy, quickly disappearing white head. The aroma is faint…with some fresh, piney hop scents. The taste is clean and balanced. Some lemon peel and floral notes come out as it warms. Medium heft in the body and drinkable. It’s an interesting, but not particularly engaging beer.
