Served on tap at Goose Island Stout Fest.
A: looks just like other variants of bcs with and added dimension of cloudiness and some tiny floaty pieces of chocolate. No head
S: lots of the familiar characters from BCS with an added emphasis on the liquid dark chocolate. Not getting any spice character on the nose
T: very heavy on dark chocolate with notes of vanilla and bourbon mixed in. Light pepper character comes through with notes of cayenne and cinnamon. The taste is reminiscent of mole...very unique.
MF: thick big body
O: this doesn't have the same level of deliciousness as the other variants of BCS, but it is still quite tastey. i was hoping for more pepper character, but the Ancho Chili version provides that much more.

A - Pours black, no lacing, head, or retention.
S - The first thing you get is the Oaxacan chocolate followed by the bourbon notes. It's a "different" type of chocolate note then what I'm used to, and not quite as appealing. There's some oak in there as well.
T - Not really digging the chocolate, but the bourbon helps this one along. A lot of choclate and bourbon, but still smooth and enjoyable. Touch of caramel and oak too.
M - Full, viscous, smooth.
O - Not amongst the top BCBS variants I've had, but still decent.

A - A black colored beer, mocha colored head that rose about a finger. Some small spots left on the sides.
S - Hard not to like how this smells, I mean, who wouldn't go for chocolate, bourbon, roasted malt, and oak. I am unfamiliar with Oaxacan chocolate, but it smells like quality stuff.
T - I think as far as chocolate stouts goes, it isn't going to get a whole lot better than this. Rich chocolate, bourbon, vanilla, a little oak, it blends pretty nicely, albeit a little sweet. Alcochol is more present in this one than other varieties.
M - Creamy, full-bodied, moderate carbonation.
D - A little sweet, and there is a touch of alcohol in here. Not a huge chocolate stout fan, but if I was going to drink one, this would be it.

This barrel aged monster pours black and settles pitch black with very little khaki head that dissipates quickly.
The nose brings scents of big bourbon up front, followed by a chocolate/ vanilla scent with wood. Smells sweet and delicious with a boozey backbone.
The taste is outrageous. Sweet flavorful bourbon mixed delighfully with some sweet milk chocolate and vanilla underneath. The high alcohol content stands out boldly but is blended well throughout the flavors.
This brew has a full bodied feel that is thick and creamy, leaving its trail to stick around after each sip.
This is dangerously drinkable. And another great variation of BCBS
