Had this at the Goose Island event at Acre. Awesome event, with a ton of awesome beers, but this was definitely the highlight for me.
This beer was a light golden color. It poured with minimal head and left some light lacing. It was crystal clear. The pink peppercorns were really apparent in the aroma, more than I had expected. Nice Belgian yeast, citrus and spice which was accentuated by the pepper. It was fairly dry. Not much sweetness, but the spice from the saison yeast was very well complemented by the spice from the pepper. The mouthfeel was light and refreshing. good carbonation. I could sit at a bar and drink this all night. Really something special coming out of the GI brewpub.
