For starters, I'm assuming this is on nitro as it was called an "American Nitro Porter" on the drink menu, sad I didn't bother to ask, but if felt like it was.
A - A black beer that is a little bit ruby on the edges. Described by GI as Lava Rock Color, which is actually a pretty accurate descriptor. Tan head that had great rention and faded to a full cap.
S - Some caramel malts but the overwhelming smell on this one is bacon, smoke, and grease. Really just a ton of that going on.
T - It tastes like bacon, smoke, and grease, with some malts coming through and a little bit of chocolate on the end. It's pretty one dimensional, but if you like this thing it's actually pretty tasty.
M - Full bodied with soft carbonation.
O - Once again, if you like meat beers, this is worth trying. I found it fairly tasty and with a nice mouthfeel.
