Back in September, our Pub team tasted through single casks of Bourbon County Brand Stout and one stood out: an Old Forester Birthday Bourbon 11-year barrel. The beer spent 43 months aging exclusively in this barrel, unlike our Original Stout, which is aged in a blend of barrels. The result brings stone fruit and oak character to the forefront, with a smooth finish.
