A - A black beer that lightened to brown on the edges. Very little head on it, no real stick on the sides. Looks a kind of reddish in the light.
S - Smells like Christmas, with dates, cherries, nutmeg, cinnamon, gingerbread, and spice. Pretty pleasant, with nothing smelling particularly artificial and a nice mix. Makes me think of fruitcake, with
T - Taste is sweet, with the nutmeg and gingerbread tastes moving to the forefront complimented by some dark fruits and a little bit of candied cherry. It has a pretty rich flavor, particularly at 7.5%, but I found it a little fatiguing and hard to drink with a meal.
M - Medium bodied with lower carbonation.
O - Not a bad beer, and I think it accomplished what they are trying to do. Not necessarily my thing, but would be a good beer to try if you are interested in beers of this type.
