Served in a weizen glass at the Clybourn brewpub.
The newest in Goose's Chef Collaboration series, this one was brewed with Chef Greg Biggers from Cafe des Architectes. It pours a lightly hazy brass topped by a finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises toasted bread, light clove, light orange zest, and very light banana. The taste holds notes of orange zest, clove, light banana, black pepper, and light grapefruit zest. The body is a light medium, with a light-leaning moderate carbonation and a drying finish. Overall, I kinda felt this was a lackluster hefe, with a meekly-expressed yeast character.
