Served in an imperial pint glass at the Clybourn brewpub.
Let's hope this turns out better than in the '80s. (Too soon?) This stuff pours a clear brass topped by over a finger of dirty off-white foam. The nose comprises light mandarin orange, flowers, biscuit, and a bit of mango. The taste holds notes of pine (both needle and sap), grapefruit rind, grass, greens, and some light orange peel. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a drying finish. Overall, a nice little IPA. 'Nuff said, really.
