Thanks for sharing this growler, Scott.
A: The beer pours amber in color with a finger of white head.
S: Doesn't really smell much like an IPA. Starts off with caramel, soap, and metal. Yum. Minimal hops to the nose and definitely some booze. I do get some mild floral hops as I really stick my nose in the glass.
T: Like with the aroma, sweet malt and caramel are the primary flavors. A little bit of booze in there too, along with a mild fruit note and some grass. A bit of floral hops are the one saving grace.
M: The body is medium and so is the carbonation med.
O: Apparently Lodi is not a destination for IPAs.

On-tap at the brewery.
A: Served chilled in a pint glass with a thin off-white head. Liquid is dark amber in color, and what little head was there had good retention and left a good amount of lacing.
S: Notes of grassy hops with some sweet caramel malt.
T: Big malt taste with a touch of grassy balancing hops. Pretty malt forward but the grass is there. There is a touch of lemon zest as well as a bready quality to the beer. Finish has a slight amount of alcohol flavor and lemon pith bitterness.
M: Bubbly carbonation, medium body and an easy mouthfeel with good slickness and viscosity.
O: Good with a meal and easy to drink with a tame bitterness. Above average.
