Our Christmas Ale is a beautifully spiced ale. It changes annually, but you will always find some nutmeg, clove, and cinnamon. Great for a drink or a dessert!

2011 version, 5.5% ABV. Served in a 14oz stemmed tulip.
A: Served a dark raisin brown color with a thin dark tan head that quickly faded into a faint but active collar. Little lace.
S: Strong clove, sweet dark fruits, nutmeg and a touch of raisin comes through. Smells inviting.
T: Follows the nose. Sweet and sticky fruits along with clove dominate. Apple cider flavors, nutmeg, cinnamon, and a touch of orange zest come through as well. No alcohol is present, no vanilla, no chocolate.
M: Medium body, full mouthfeel with a good chewiness. Goes down clean with tingly but even carbonation. Not soda-like.
O: Really flavorful and easy to drink. Sweet and spicy. This and the Eisbock are the best from the brewery.

Sampled 12/31/2010 at the brewpub.
Pours dark brown, hazy, tall off-white head, low retention and lace.
Aroma is cinnamon, honey, dark chocolate, roast, and vanilla.
Flavor is very spicy, just as the nose indicates. Vanilla, dark chocolate, cinamon, coriander, low bitterness, and some roast.
Body is light/medium and pretty drinkable and enjoyable.
