This Vienna style lager from a 24 hr previous fill opened with a fzzzt. Poured in pint glasses offered head and carbonation similar to the brewpub. The clear copper brew now cloudy from the yeast that we agitated while transporting the iced growler a few miles across town.
Warior and Cascade citrus aromas on a hot July day - my kind of fireworks! I think I got a better sample of the malt quality of this lager from the growler - or maybe we were benefiting from a clean palate (this being the first growler of the day ;>) Session, Session sess . . .
