I had this one on tap at Harrison's on 11/11/2008.

A= This stout poured jet black with a 1/2" tan head that retained fairly well. Some moderate lacing down my glass.

S= I noticed a dark syrupy sweet smell alongside lots of pungent heavy roasted malts.

T= Predominant flavor was of roasted malts, with some malty sweetness in there too. Hops were in the background and of the earthy variety. Dry finish.

MF= A bit thin for a stout, with a medium body and decently crisp carbonation.

D= Not a bad dry stout and certainly the best beer I have had at Harrison's.

(Served in an American pint glass)

A- This beer has a black inky body with a light brown head that last a good bit. No sign of carbonation in the dense body.

S- This beer has an earthy black malt smell with notes of black-roasted malt as well.

T- This beer has a smoky bacon flavor in the dark malt and black grain flavors. There is also a brewed coffee note in the malt as it warms a bit. There is a slight saltiness to the dark malt and bacon flavor with an earthy finish. As it warms there is a sour note that comes through more and more.

M- This beer has a medium-light mouthfeel with a dry finish.

D- This beer has some interesting flavors but they were a bit strange. I'm note sure if they were off flavors or just exotic twist on the dry stout.

Nice Two finger head that dropped to about half a finger and lasted throughout. Very vreamy oatey smell with an overall malty character. Tasted of creamy grain and coffee. Not too dry of a mouthfeel, but didn't overwhelm the palate. I started off my excursion at Harrison's with this beer so my palate was ready to enjoy my steak dinner.
