Ordered the "Special Brew of the Month", which was their version of an American IPA.
A: Served in a standard Shaker glass, this beer exhibited a nice off-white-two-finger head. The body was dirtied up quite a bit, but had complex hues of gold and orange.
S: Not as much of a hop punch as I typically get from a standard IPA, but they were still detectable.
T: A decent amount of a bitter hop kick. The malt came off a little too sweet, almost artificial in many ways.
M: Chewy and dry, which degraded the taste even further.
O: Not a horrible beer, but below average for the style to say the least. Cheers!
