I ordered a keg of this beer for a Halloween party last year. It was a BIG hit and everyone loved it.
Appearance - Nice golden color, nothing exceptional about the appearance.
Smell - Smell was decent, close to a Pils.
Taste - Like I said, big hit at the party. Very calm taste that a majority of people will like. Everyone from avid beer drinkers to non-beer drinkers enjoyed.
Mouth feel - Nice balance, sits on the tongue well.
Drinability - Very drinkable, would order again and again from Sonoma. Quality Kolsch, best in town.

On tap at Sonoma Chicken Coop on 7/20/09.
A - Clear pale yellow/straw-colored body with a sparse amount of large bubbles of carbonation and a half inch bright white head that quickly diminished to a thin veil, leaving behind a few strands of lace.
S - Aroma isn't too terribly exciting. Some bready and toasted grainy notes are present, as well as light citrusy hops and some sweet corn.
T - Opens with a biscuity malt character with grainy notes and some sweet caramel sweetness. Hops are subtle with citrus and grassy characteristics. Some corn and honey notes sweeten the pot a bit, balancing the mild hops in the finish.
M - Light bodied with a light syrupy texture and medium carbonation providing a slight bristly mouthfeel. Pretty crisp and refreshing with a grainy malt sweetness and very subtle hop bite on the palate.
D - Enough flavor to kick back a few of these in the warmth of the California summer. Nothing spectacular by any means, but a decent, drinkable Kolsch nonetheless.
